DK Pittsburgh Sports, the first independent sports media outlet of its kind in North America, was created in 2014 by Dejan Kovacevic, an award-winning columnist and veteran of 25 years with Pittsburghs major newspapers. Hes joined on our staff by three beat writers -- Dale Lolley on Steelers, Dave Molinari on Penguins, Alex Stumpf on Pirates -- plus Tom Reed, Taylor Haase, Noah Hiles and Christopher Carter.
We cover the Steelers, Penguins, Pirates, Pitt football and basketball, and Duquesne basketball. That means every game and every practice. We travel everywhere the teams do, fully credentialed by the NFL, NHL, Major League Baseball and International Olympic Committee.
Now, with this custom, state-of-the-art app, were offering more quality and quantity than ever on a superior platform aimed at being a Pittsburgh sports fans one-stop shop.
